1. What materials can this mining and mineral ore bulk bag hold?
This bulk bag is designed for dry mining and mineral products such as crushed ore, mineral concentrates, iron ore fines, copper ore, limestone, silica sand, aggregate fines, processed rock, metal-bearing minerals, and compatible dense materials. The bag construction should be confirmed for the specific product’s density, particle size, abrasiveness, and flow characteristics.
2. How much weight can the bag safely hold?
The bag has a safe working load of 2,205 pounds, or 1,000 kilograms. This limit should not be exceeded during filling, lifting, storage, transportation, or discharge. Dense mineral products may reach the weight limit before the bag reaches its full volume capacity.
3. How do the spout top and spout bottom work?
The spout top connects with compatible hoppers, chutes, conveyors, and filling systems for controlled loading with reduced spillage. The spout bottom provides a directed discharge point for transferring material into crushers, mixers, conveyors, storage bins, or processing equipment without cutting the bag open.
4. What are the benefits of uncoated fabric?
Uncoated woven polypropylene provides durable containment without an added fabric coating and allows more airflow through the weave. It does not provide a moisture barrier and may allow very fine particles to migrate through the fabric, so covered storage or a coated or lined bag may be needed for moisture-sensitive or dusty materials.
5. Is this bag suitable for every mineral ore application?
Not automatically. Mineral products can be highly dense, abrasive, dusty, chemically reactive, or capable of puncturing standard polypropylene fabric. The bag’s fabric weight, seams, abrasion resistance, sift resistance, spout dimensions, chemical compatibility, and electrostatic classification should be confirmed before ordering.
