Description

CPP-Biomass

Biomass Bulk Bag — 37x37x60″ | Duffle Top, Spout Bottom | 2,205 lb SWL

Sized for the volume and handling needs of the biomass and renewable fuel industry, this bulk bag efficiently stores and transports wood pellets, sawdust fuel stock, and other biomass materials from processing facility to end customer.

The spout bottom allows for fast, controlled discharge into boilers, hoppers, or storage silos, while the duffle top keeps lightweight biomass material contained and dust-free during transport.

Why biomass and renewable fuel suppliers choose this bag:

  • Sized for the lower bulk density of wood pellets and biomass fuel stock
  • Spout bottom for direct discharge into hoppers, silos, or boiler feed systems
  • Duffle top closure minimizes dust and material loss in transit
  • Reinforced lift loops for forklift or crane handling
  • Durable fabric for outdoor storage in fuel yards

Common uses: wood pellets, biomass fuel stock, sawdust, mill byproduct, renewable energy feedstock.

FAQ — Biomass Bulk Bag (CPP-Biomass)

1. Why is this bag sized larger than your standard bags?
Biomass materials like wood pellets and sawdust fuel stock have a lower bulk density than something like sand or aggregate — they take up more space per pound. At 37″x37″x60″, this bag is sized so you reach the 2,205 lb SWL by volume rather than hitting the weight limit with a lot of empty space left in the bag.

2. How does the spout bottom work with boiler or silo feed systems?
The spout bottom lets you position the bag over a hopper, silo inlet, or boiler feed system and open the discharge spout for controlled gravity feed — no manual dumping or shoveling. This is the same mechanism used for resin pellets, just sized and rated for biomass fuel stock instead.

3. Will the duffle top keep dust down during handling?
Yes — the duffle top gathers and cinches closed, which cuts down on dust escaping during transport and storage compared to an open-top bag. That said, wood pellets and sawdust do generate some fine dust during handling regardless of bag design, so combustible dust precautions at your facility should still apply based on your own safety assessment, not just the bag’s containment.

4. Is this bag rated for long-term outdoor storage at a fuel yard?
Standard uncoated fabric holds up fine for routine handling and moderate storage duration, but for extended outdoor stockpiling exposed to UV and weather, ask about UV-stabilized fabric — untreated fabric will degrade faster under prolonged sun exposure, which matters if bags sit in a fuel yard for weeks or months before use.

5. What’s the minimum order, and how does pricing scale with volume?
Minimum order is 2,000 bags, with pricing stepping down at 4,000, 6,000, 8,000, and 10,000 bags (full container load). Contact us with your target quantity for a delivered price.
